Imagine

Imagine from the start
A quietly breaking heart

Imagine if you please
A woman on her knees

Imagine if you will
The world spinning as she stills

Imagine. Can you?
A soul ripped in two

Imagine and weep
For a lonliness bone deep

Imagine if you dare
The pain she must bare

Imagine, for your sake
A cold, cruel ache

Imagine this hell
How long she fell

Imagine the virus, she holds inside
The poison she's desperate to hide

Imagine the crosses she carries alone
Suffering behind her mask of stone

Imagine if you can
A haunted lifespan

Imagine the possible
Surviving the horrible

Imagine and ponder
Alone as she wanders

Imagine her pride
The strength in her stride

Imagine, in this space
A simple, silent grace

Imagine, if you've the time
Her dignified climb

Imagine and adore
Her spirit gradually soar

Imagine if you're able
A warrior angel
